2013 VETERAN HOMELESSNESS COUNTS MAP

June 13, 2013 This map serves as a database of January 2013 Point-in-Time counts of homeless veterans that have been reported in media reports or on Continuum of Care/government websites. The U.S. Government has set a goal of ending veteran homelessness by the end of 2015. Substantial progress needs to be made now in order to achieve that goal.

The Empowerment Plan (.org) is dedicated the helping the homeless. They employ Detroit homeless shelter  residence, manufacturing a very special coat/sleeping bag that preforms like a shelter, keeping the homeless warm and dry.

Homeless Voice Shelter (.org) is a one of a kind shelter, that help the homeless people who no one else wants, or will accept. After watching their pod cast, I was truely moved by their good works. They make their shelter feel like a home.
